International Adoption
Immigration Process
To complete an international adoption and bring a child to the United States, adoptive parents must meet requirements set by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The Family Network assists adoptive families with their paperwork from start to finish.
The Family Network assists adoptive families by providing them with an Immigration Packet, which contains all the documents that they will need to submit to the National Benefits Center (a USCIS adoption services center), which processes intercountry adoption cases; counsels adoptive families so they can properly fill out the paperwork; and communicates with the National Benefits Center as needed. The Family Network also assists adoptive families in tracking their immigration expiration dates and informing adoptive families on how to apply for a free renewal & extension request.
